pivot table from access query

I am wondering if it is possible (and how) to create a pivot table based on an ms access query.

Presently I have been exporting the query as csv and then running a macro to create my pivot table.

I attempted to choose an mdb as a datasource but after doing so I'm not presented with a list of queries to pick from like I was expecting.

    Hi,

Try to fetch data from the Access query by going to Data > From Other Sources > From Microsoft Query > MS Access Database

    Hope this helps.
