Use the text to column feature found in the menu and make the delimiter the comma.
In Excel, Convert "last name, first name" in Column A to "first" in Column A and "last" in Column B
Current format:
Column A
"last name, first name"
Desired format:
Column A Column B
"first name" "last name"
It's a comma deliminated file, so would it make sense to export it as a text file, then re-import it?

2012-04-20T18:37:16+00:00 Yeah, Brad's post greatly worked no hassle. To complete it...
Highlight your range | Data Tab | Text to Columns under Data Tools | Delimited | Check the Tab and Comma | Finish
The only problem now is the Spaces leading the FirstName, just use =Trim(B1) in CellC1 then copy - pastespecial/value into B1 to eliminate the leading space.
Hope it also helps ☺☺☺,

Try this
In cell B1, use this formula =RIGHT(A6,LEN(A6)-SEARCH(",",A6)-1)
In cell C1, use this formula =LEFT(A6,SEARCH(",",A6)-1)
Hope this helps.
