installation never ends.

Question

after down loading ms office 2010 from the home use program, the installation never ends.  Why?

Did you click on ‘Run’ while downloading Office 2010 or did you save the Office 2010 download file to hard drive?

Try to stop the print spooler from services then try to install the Office 2010.

1.       Click on Start.

2.       In the start search box type services. MSc and press enter

3.       In the services Window, scroll down to print spooler.

4.       Right click on it and click on Properties.

5.       Click on stop button, this will stop the windows installer services.

6.       Click on Apply and Ok.

If the issue still persists then run fix it to remove all the Office traces then restart the computer in clean boot then you may first save the Office 2010 downloaded file to desktop and try installing Office 2010 and verifies the status.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting in clean boot, ensure you restart the computer in normal mode.
