    Hi,

    Thank you for replying.

Describe ‘i did not subscribe to office 365 but the same thing happens’?

Mention when exactly do you receive the error message?

If you receive the error message while installing Office 2013 and you have performed the steps that are suggested in the previous posts, then you may manually remove Office 2013 from the computer and then try installing it.

    Hello Prashant,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community. I will provide you the steps to determine the cause of the issue and install the Office 2013 successfully.

Before we proceed I would require some more information to assist you better.

    1. What is the exact and complete error message you get when trying to install Office 2013?
    2. Do you have previous versions of Office installed on the computer?

Follow these steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue:

    Step 1:

Check for multiple/trial version of Office installed on the computer by going to Start, Control panel and Programs and Features. If found you may uninstall them and then try installing Office 2013.

You may also use the Fix it tool to remove the older version of Office installed in the computer from the following article.

    For Office 2010:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

    For Office 2007:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218

    For Office 2003:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2639197

Note: Ensure to save the fix it tool on the desktop and then run the file.

    Step 2:

Run the Fix it from the following article to remove all traces of the new Office on the system.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Once the Fix it completes then you install Office 2013 and verify the results.

I hope this fixes the issue. If not, reply and I will be happy to assist you further.

    Thank you
