Cannot open Excel files, message, Please wait while windows configures microsoft Office XP Professional at Front Page...

My (Dell) XP computer has been fine until recently when I tried to open my excel files when a box appeared saying "Please wait while windows configures microsoft Office XP Professional at Front Page" ..then other boxes appeared asking me to install/insert the Microsoft XP professional with front page disk -which I can't find. Another box opened displaying "Error 1706 and saying cannot find the required file"    - Can anyone help me please. Thanks

Not much to do without the CD. If you have your product key, you can try to get a replacement:
