Original Title:install issues

Trying to install Office Home and Student to my computer from the disc, but it keeps telling me, "Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run setup again from the original source disc or download location." I am using an original disc what is going wrong? How can I install it?

Do you have any previous or trial versions of Office installed on the computer?

If yes, go to the Control Panel and uninstall them from the Programs list. Then restart the computer and try installing Office 2010 from the original media.
