AccessDatabaseEngine.exe installation - details needed

I need to distribute AccessDatabaseEngine.exe to remote machines. How can I tell if this has already been installed? Making an assumption I can write a script to handle installing/uninstalling. Is there a registry setting or DLL I can look for? Also, where are the DLLs installed. A full path listing of DLLs installed would be ideal and highly appreciated.

Need to read Excel files in what?

Never mind I see now. Install it on one system and then check in Control Panel to see if its listed. If so there is probably a Registry key that you can check.

I just checked and didn't find it in my Registry so its probably not installed as a matter of course.

Not sure I understand your question. I need to read Excel files and this was the only reliable choice in my choice in my opinion. If you're referring to writing a script to handle the interaction, I'd LOVE to find a way to install it over and over whether it's been installed or not. The /? option didn't display that, unless /passive would take care of that. That would make my job a lot easier. I don't NEED to know where the DLLs are being installed to, but my boss asked :)
