I created a new table in my backend.

When I go to the front end and select the Linked Table Manager, I do not see the new table listed. What step have I overlooked?

It is because the Linked Table Manager is for managing existing linked table, not creating a new link.  So you have to Import the table as a linked table.

External Data -> Import & Link -> Access

Browse to select the Back-end database

Check the 'Link to te data source by creating a linked table

Click OK
