Problem with CTRL+D in Excel 2007

I am using Excel 2007 in office for doing my work which consist thousands of rows and almost 50 columns. I need to enter same kind of data again and again and for this I am using CTRL+D to fill data in cells. CTRL+D is working perfectly when I am using it without using any filters but when I use filter and press CTRL+D it reflects other columns also with the same data which is not in filter. Can someone tell what’s wrong with CTRL+D while using in filters in Excel 2007?

There's nothing wrong, that's just how it works when you select cells in a single row in a filtered list (at least on versions from 2002 to 2013).

If you want to copy one cell from the visible cell above use Ctrl+'

If you want to copy multiple cells from the visible row above you could select the cells in the 2 rows and Ctrl+D

    Sir,

I want to fill data in multiple rows for which I am selecting top row to down row and pressing CTRL+D. Now data filled with what is in first row but the problem is the same data filled in other rows which is not in the selected filter.

If that is the case then we are seeing different behaviour.

I have tested extensively and cannot reproduce what you describe.

Is your Excel 2007 up to date?
