My need : inside a single Powerpoint 2007 file, I'd like to have a golden source of tabular data and views of this data in various other slides, sometimes as chart or pivot. The embedded source data should be editable and then other views/charts in other slides displays the new values.
1/ Is it possible to have cells from one embedded Excel Object displaying values from another embedded Excel Object ?
2/ If yes, what it the way to do it ? I try following way but did not work as expected :
In first slide, I insert a new "Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet" Object, I edit this embedded Excel object to fill some cells with data.
In second slide, I also insert another new embedded Excel object, and I'd like to display there cells from the first Excel object.
I do a "Copy" of a cell from inside the first object, and do a "Paste link" inside the second one.
It results as a "#N/A" value with formula : =Excel.Sheet.12|'Worksheet in EmbeddingExcel.pptx 2'!'!Sheet1!R1C1'
Did not found yet any valuable information regarding this use case in ms sites.
Thanks,
