Hi

I have designed/formatted a table

I want to save its structure in a style and then want to apply only that structure to all subsequent tables but I want to apply only table structur and not to alter the contects of table

there are approx 40 tables in similar fashion

some tables flow to next page, so last row in table should say 'continued...'   and starting row on next page should say '...continued from previous page'

please suggest.

And for the "continued..." text, using a repeated header will do the trick. You'd have to use a white graphic to cover up the "continued" text on the first page of the header. Be sure not to anchor the graphic to the header, because then it will be repeated along with the rest of the header content of course.

Some aspects of table structure can be saved as a table style. For your requirements, however, saving a formatted but empty table as an AutoText entry (building block) may be more satisfactory.

    Hi, Stefan,

Where is the post you split from this thread?  Your message didn't say.
