When my color cartridge ran dry, I found the solution to switching to single cartridge black. Now I have a new color cartridge, I can't find the link that tells me how to return to printing in color. Can anyone help? thnx

Probably somewhere in the dialog that appears when you click on Properties in the Print dialog.  Those Properties are specific to each type of printer.

    Suzanne,

No joy, but it got me exploring in that area. I finally stumbled over something that put color into my documents. If I ever find it, again, I'll post it on here for you. You guys rock.

    thnx,

    Pete

Doug's reply is most likely the answer, but there is also a setting in Word's Options. Go to Office Button | Word Options | Advanced and scroll all the way to the bottom to the Layout Options. Click the + to expand the list and check to make sure that the box for "Print colors as black on noncolor printers" is not checked. I've never been entirely sure what this option actually does (I'm not sure Word can really tell whether the printer is capable of printing color or not), but if it is checked, you can clear it.
