Hyperlinks to text boxes not working...

I have created an Organisational chart in Word 2010 using the Smart Art feature. I would like to add hyperlinks to internal documents and websites to some of the boxes but it doesn't allow me to. I can add the hyperlink, but the only way to open the hyperlink is to right click on the box and then select open link. It doesn't create a 'clickable' text or area. Anyone have any ideas on how this could work?

    Unfortunately Hyperlinks will not open when created for Smart Art clicking on it.
