"Print Object" was already checked - anything else I should be looking into?

Am I missing something very basic (again, no pun intended)? - I have datepicker on an excel sheet and it displays acceptably, but when I print the sheet (actually in page layout), the cells where the datepicker are show blank!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Howard

In Design Mode, right-click on the DatePicker and select "Format Control...". Go to the "Properties" tab. Make sure "Print object" is checked.
