Hi All
Not sure if this has been answered.
The double click functionality on animation painter and format painter does not work in my version of powerpoint 2013, does anyone have any suggestions??
Many thanks

Maybe you mean CTRL + Shift + C ??
This activates the Pick Up Format tool (not normally on the ribbon)
You can then use CTRL + SHIFT + V to apply Format.
This is useful but not the same function as the Format Painter.
What happens when you select the Text Box (as a whole - the borders will highlight with the crosshair cursor, not placing the cursor in the text) -- not the Text when you double click?
I know this question sounds very elementary, but I'm just trying to troubleshoot.

Hi Sandy
yes I have selected the text, single click on format painter works but if I double click the format tool doesn't change to the format icon allowing you to apply the format to multiple text. Exactly the same thing happens with the animation painter, single animation painter fine but you can't double click to get multiple instances!
It's working here. Question, is there text in the objects you're trying to paint?
