Try:
Double-click the horizontal axis to bring up the Format Axis dialog.
In the Axis labels group, select the "Low" radio button.

Doing a bar chart which has both positive and negative data. Can't figure out how to move the axis label (which is the year) to the bottom of the chart rather than at the zero line where the axes cross. Help!

Thanks. At first I couldn't find anything about Axis Labels but finally found it under "Ticks". Only God and Microsoft know why they would hide it there!!! But you got me started on my search and I appreciate it!
