Missing ODBC Drivers

I am a Developer  and have Office 2003, 2007, and 2010 Professional Versions installed on my Machine running Windows 7 Professional. For a period, I had 2007 uninstalled. I had since installed 2010. The ODBC Drivers were present and functioning. Then I re-installed 2007, and even then ODBC functioned. A week or so ago, I kept getting an Office 2010 Update that would hang up until I aborted the process. That was when I discovered that my Drivers quit functioning, I thought if I reinstalled 2010, the problem would be fixed, to no avail.

The ODBC Window populates the name of the Drivers, but if I attampt to add new or configure, I receive the following error: "The setup routine for the Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb) ODBC Driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver."

When I close the Error Message box, I receive another message: "Errors Found: The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and the Application."

I cannot find where to reinstall the drivers from. Please help me resolve this problem as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Hi,

First, you need to determine which Win 7 bit version and MS office bit version you have, everything must match the MS Access bit version. There are two ODBC administrator applications, one for setting up 32-bit drivers for 32-bit application, another for 64-bit drivers and 64-bit applications. The default link in Administrative Tools is to the 64-bit. If you are using MS Office 64-bit then you can download the 64-bit driver here http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=13255 ,  You would then use the ODBC manager located at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.

Regards

I have Windows 7 64bit and Office 2013 32bit.  Will I be able to address this issue?  I have the same driver issue as described above.

    Thank you
