lat/long not processing

I've got Latitude and Longitude coordinates, but when I try to process the data in GeoFlow nothing happens. I select the fields, click "Map It" and at the bottom is says finished, but nothing shows up on the screen.

Is there something special I need to do to get lat/long working correctly?

    Hi Jody,

What format is your latitude and longitude data in? GeoFlow expects decimal formats like you would see if you download the NOAA Hazards sample workbook from the GeoFlow download site at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/download-geoflow-for-excel-FX104036784.aspx.

    Thanks,

    Anita

    1. Office 2013 - Enterprise
    2. Graphics Driver - Card is an AMD FirePro M4000, driver is from AMD. It's actually a brand new laptop from HP Elitebook 8570w if that helps.
    3. Here's the steps I am taking:
    1. Create table in excel with lat/long data formatted as general.
    2. Launch Geoflow
    3. Select Latitude and Longitude under table 1 for layer 1
    4. Click Map It

At this point the application acts like it want to process the data, but never does. However, I have city and state data which actually does work. It is only the lat/long that is not working.

    Thanks,

    Jody

    Hi Jody,

Before we proceed I would require some more information to assist you better.

    1. Mention the edition of Office 2013 installed on the system?
    2. Provide the Graphic driver detail that is available on the system.
    3. Mention the exact steps that you are performing so that we can reproduce the issue on our end.

Provide us more information to help us assist you further.

    Thank you
