"Name Conflicts with Existing Module" Error

save XP/2010

I have an Access database in which a form in the database is copied and pasted into the same database once a year, changing only the year at the end of the name.  The name of the last year's form is: "frmSurveyReceipt-2012" and the new copy/pasted file name should be "frmSurveyReceipt-2013."  However, when trying to save the copied form with the new name, the following error is returned:

"Name conflicts with existing module, project, or other library."

Ideas on why this is happening and how we can save the form with the new name?

Thx,

William

I find it rather odd that you copy a form every year. Is there a reason why you just don't filter the form for a selected year?

As to why you can't save the form, if you don't really have a form by that name is sounds like the system tables are corrupt. Try compacting the database. If that doesn't fix it import everything into a new database file.
