Problem with Trusted Locations

Our office recently got a new computer to use exclusively as our network shared drive.  I am using Windows 7 and Access 2010. When any of us try to open files from the new network location, we get the security warning even though the network drive and subfolders have been added as a Trusted Location in Trust Center Settings.  The error dialog box that comes up is the Open File - Security Warning box and there is no little check box to uncheck so it will not ask me again.  Oddly, when we try to open the files from the recently used files list, it opens without the security warning.  How can I fix this so the security warning doesn't continue to pop up?

Many thanks for any assistance.

Christina

No, the database is not split. We are a small office and not that sophisticated; there are only 2 of us who would need access to the database and never at the same time.  It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time we moved our network drive this was not an issue any of the other 4 times we migrated the data to another system.

Gina is right: you should split the database between back-end (tables only; on the server) and front end (all other objects, and linked tables; on each workstation). Anything else is asking for trouble.
