imsub formula result

The imsub formula result will not display with 2 decimal places, have tried to change this using the number section but it doesn't work

    Complex numbers are just text strings in Excel. Any number format you apply to a cell with a complex number will be ignored.

    If you want the result of subtracting complex numbers to be displayed in a specific way, you'd have to write a custom function in VBA for that purpose.
