Missing gradient fill option

In powerpoint 2003 one of the options available when I used 1 of the preset gradient fills was to have a yellow diagonal or horizontal line with darker colours on either side of it.   This still exists in any old powerpoints I have created (so presumably the functionality still exists) but I cannot create this from scratch in powerpoint 2010, which only allows me to have the lighter colour at the edge.

You can create it from scratch by choosing "More Gradients" at the bottom of the gradient choices.

Once there select gradient fill and check how the sliders are set for an old style gradient. You should be able to use them to create your own. Not so easy to understand but a lot more powerful than the old gradients.
