I am designing a form in Word 2010 and I have been using checkboxes. They had been aligning themselves beside the text but then, further down the document, they started to appear slightly above the text which doesnt look too good. Could someone tell me why this would be happening and how I could fix it? Many thanks.

Consider using a two-column table. One column holds checkbox and second column holds corresponding text.
Any way you could post a sample document with the problem?
Hi, thanks for your response. I only used the one type throughout (legacy). I have tried everything I can think of but nothing I do will align the checkbox level with the text.
Are you using the same kind of checkbox each time. There are three kinds available (content control, active-X, and legacy). It wouldn't surprise me if they lined up differently. Then there are also macrobutton checkboxes.
Unless you have very good reasons you do not want to be mixing these, it will complicate things.
