When I save PowerPoint files, a window opens stating, "Press the ESC key to cancel saving the document." The time it takes to save these files is rather lengthy and I would like to know if there is any way to speed this up.

There isn't but you often get this if you save in the old ppt format as the program is converting as well as saving.
Well of course a Gb+ file will take a while to save!
I am creating PowerPoint files in Office 2010 and saving them in 2010, so I don't think that save/convert is the issue. I'm thinking that because the files are relatively large (over 1 GB), that this has something to do with the issue.
Any thoughts about that? Thank you.
