I know there's a simple way but can't remember how. In graphics programs, for instance, you choose a particular selection tool to drag across the objects to select, then delete them. I can't find a way to do multiple selections in Excel other than by shift-clicking on each object. Is there an easier way?

Sounds promising. I've googled, checked the Office forum and Office products site and can't find TazBar. So, as you say, I should talk to Bob Jones. I can see his profile but not a way to contact him. How do I do that?

Duncan
Thanks for that, Bob. Not quite what I want, but useful in the event I ever want to remove all objects.
Talk to Bob Jones He figured out a way to put it back. He seems to think they just forgot to put it In. Its called TazBar. You download this add to excel then drag item out to standard bar and you get this:

Unfortunately, the selection tool does not exist in Excel 2011. You can select them all, by going to the Edit menu - Go To- and select special and then select objects.
