infopath field text alignment

I've created a form in Infopath 2010 with text box controls. All of the fields are left aligned but when some of the fields are filled out the data is not visible as it extends out of view to the left. As an example one field is Testing but only sting is visible. What is the problem? The form is going to be used by our legal office so things must be in their proper place.

I had to delete the text boxes and recreate them from the data connection. Then everthing look correct.

Try placing the text fields within tables and see if that does the trick.  Looks like there might be some quirky behavior with the browser and I'm assuming it looks fine in the filler.

I'm using IE7. It opens in Infopath. What is happening is the text is running past the left margin of the text box and as such is not visible. I changed the padding to 50 px and the first line (multi-line field) is displayed correctly, at the field's edge, but any subsequent line is indented by 50 px.

I've tried left, center and justified aligned in the alignment box on the display tab of the properties box.

Unless I put in padding it doesn't display right.

Sorry, I do not see anything to do an upload or attachment with.

They are not in tables.  I did a cut and paste from a word document then added fields where needed.

    Looks like this:

    Instead of :

    ________________________________

    |The rule for fools                                |

shows as this with 50 px padding on left side

    Hi there,

Is the issue you are seeing in the browser or the filler?  If its the browser, what browser are you using? (eg. IE7, IE8, Firefox 5, etc.)

Are you placing these textboxes inside tables?  If possible, can you include a screenshot in the designer and filler where this is happening?
