Error opening Excel: Stdole32.tlb is missing

sorry about my previous question.

our PC shows that " stdole32.tlb"  is missing.

even after reinstalling the MS office 2007  or MS office 2003 , the problem still persists and excel is not opening.

please advice as to what shall be done to correct this problem?

    the PC at our Home shows that the "Stole32.tlb" is missing and as such the excel files are not opening properly.

    Please advice to correct this problem
