Suppressing Endnotes

I need my all my endnotes to appear at the end of my book, but before the bibliography and index.  I have read that you need to set up the end notes to appear at the end of each section and then suppress them, but all the instructions for suppressing them (that I have found) seem to be for older versions of Word.

The option to suppress endnotes is still in the Page Setup dialog box. You display that dialog box by clicking the dialog launcher (the little arrow symbol on the bottom left) of the Page Setup group on the Page Layout tab.

You have to set the location of endnotes to "End of section" in the Footnote and Endnote Options dialog box for "Suppress endnotes" to activate. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/FootnoteFAQContent.htm#TextAfterNotes.

Note that the article may not have been updated for recent versions of Word. In Word 2007/2010/2013, you can display the Page Setup dialog box by double-clicking the upper area of the horizontal ruler, and you can display the Footnote and Endnote dialog box by clicking the dialog launcher button in the Footnotes group on the References tab.
