Pivot table refresh disable

Hi

I am using Excel 2013. I have a file that has data residing in different tabs. Pivot tables are created off each data tab. I then share the file via sharepoint. When users download the file from the sharepoint they found (and I saw it through live meeting) that the refresh button is greyed out. They are not able to refresh any pivot tables. Strangely, I have no problem when I downloaded the same file.

Any idea why this is happening and any resolution?

Thanks.

Looks like it is a version thing. I created the pivot table in Excel 2013 and those with refresh button grey out are using Excel 2010.

    Hi TasosK

Thanks for the reference. It doesn't really applies to me. I am not using the shared workbook method. The sharepoint is just a form of depository and pick up. It reduces the email exchanges and passing of a large file.

Researching thru the web I also found out from my user that he is not able to define/change the data table/range in Change Data Source.
