Changing Section Break Odd Page to Section Break Even Page

Hi everyone,

I've selected an odd page section break and then tried to change it to an even page break but it keeps reverting back to odd.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and if there's a workaround?

Thanks

I was able to fix this problem by going under page layout and choosing the section break that way. Not sure why it worked but it solved the problem.

Thanks

    Thanks for the reply,

The nearest section break to the odd page one is about 20 to 30 pages before it so I'm not sure how that could be contributing to the problem. The heading on the page following the odd section break has a "Page break before" applied to but even if I remove it, it doesn't solve the problem.

The document is set up with mirror margins. It seems to be forcing the page following each section break onto an odd page and I can't overwrite this. Is that the way facing page documents work in Word?

Not enough detail to answer: it's probably because an associated section break is too close to it.

    Cheers
