I update my margins in excel to fit my sheet exactly on one page. Works fine, can print exactly how I want it and I save the excel document. Next time I open it, the margins are back to the default and I have to change them all again. Why doesn't it remember what I set my margins to?

Just to be clear, what do you mean by "I update my margins..."? Exactly how are you doing so?
Also, what is your update level of Office? [14.2.3 is current.]
What is the format of the file you are saving it as?
