I figured it out, i just have to hold shift when i open it and it puts me into edit mode. Thanks

trying to modify an access 2003 .mdb file but cannot view tables etc... associated with it. I did not create the file but do need to modify. can this be done? thanks,

Have you gone to your options (TOOLS > OPTIONS > VIEW) and checked the HIDDEN OBJECTS checkbox?
