I am using office 2011.  I have multiple spreadsheets that have been formatted for my printer.   When I print them it goes to 2 pages and I have to go to options and set format to:  printername  everytime I print a page.   I've tried changing the page layout for every page and saving the document but when I reopen it the problem still exists

Go to System Preferences Print&Fax select printer and set it as default printer.

When you open excel,  and go to Page Setup the printer should be preselected.

if you want  preselected setups. Do the following:

While in Printer go to each item as shown here: http://screencast.com/t/nynhNn95

Select each item and customize as needed then click on presets scroll down to save as and choose save as the give name.

Now each time you want to set a specific way choose the preset.
