Cannot print report Access 2010

I have my reports opening but there is no button to print and we are not able to right-click to bring up the print option that way either. I am only able to print by hitting ctrl+P. Also if a report is open you can not access anything else. It essentially locks me from everything else.

Is the report being opened from a form which itself has been opened dialogue mode or otherwise modally?

The report is opening in Print Preview, this is the default setting. The print is on the standard ribbon but Icannot get to it past the report. It is not set tobe a modal.

It sounds like you might be opening the report in Report View, not Print Preview.  The former is the default.  To get a report to open by default in Print Preview set its Default View property to Print Preview in its properties sheet in design view and save the report.

Usually the print button is on the ribbon - the standard report ribbon or the custom ribbon you built for reports.

Can you try it with the Northwind sample application? Assuming that one works fine, compare how the reports are invoked and some of the report-level properties as well.
