Find your Device - Enterprise

I’m going through and trying to locate our devices if they are stolen. We’ve invested over 250k in new computers over the last year and it seems that Microsoft has a ‘Find my Device’ option in windows 10. After further research and trying to get it to work over the weekend, I do notice that it states the following:

“If you’ve connected a work or school account, Find my device won’t work.”

Does Microsoft have a way around this using endpoint management? Our devices are all checking into endpoint manager, formally intune, and are supervised by us. I wasn’t sure if maybe there was some thing else that needed to be turned on to get something like this working.

If this is not an option, does Microsoft have a partnership with someone else for locating devices?

    See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/device-locate.

Also, for "endpoint manager, formally intune", I assume you mean "formerly" but this is not correct. The product is still Intune. Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) is a suite of products and services that includes Intune so calling it MEM or endpoint manager is ambiguous.
