Automatic Renewal Notification

I have received an email informing me that my Office 365 Home Premium subscription is due for renewal on June 3rd, and it advised me of the monthly amount I will be paying.

However, I did not install office 365 Premium as when I tried to install I was informed that I couldn't install while I currently have Office 2013 installed. I do not want to continue the subscription of 365 Home Premium at this time but if I go to My Account, I cannot cancel or remove the subscription as it simply states that 'It looks like you don’t have Office yet. Do you want to visit the Store to get a copy?'.

Can you please advise if I will be charged for this service that I do not use and want to cancel. I also cannot find the payment method on my account as I cannot find a link to it within 'My Account'.

Thanks for you help

Bob

    Hi Bob,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Office Community and thanks for providing us an opportunity to assist you.

I understand that you had tried installing a trial copy which never happened. However now you have received an e-mail that it is due to renewal.

If you haven’t purchased the product, then it might be because you tried installing a trial copy of Office 265 subscription. Now, since the trial copy is expired, you have received a prompt to continue with the subscription by renewing every month or on yearly basis.

You may refer to the following link, go to Getting Help and click on Contact Customer Support.https://commerce.microsoft.com/PaymentHub/help

Once you are in the window, under Products select Office 365 Home Premium -> Subscription management -> Cancel Office 365 Home Premium Subscription.

You need to click on Start chat or Request a call option to talk to representative who will be able to assist you regarding the Office 2013 and other related information.

I hope this information helps in cancelling the Office 365 Home Premium Subscription.

If you have any additional questions related to Office products you may always post in Microsoft Community.

    Thank You

    Hi ,

thanks for your reply and for taking the time to input an answer to my question.

I have tried to follow your instructions and I'm getting the same results as I was prior to posting the message.

i.e. if I pick on your link, it takes me to my account, but no matter what option I pick I get the same result in that it states that 'No Billing Information Available for this account'.

I can reach the 'Talk to Microsoft - Request a call' etc.... BTW if you select 'Cancel Office 365.....' then you don't get the option to 'start a chat'..  ;-))

I've decided that since there is no billing information or payment instructions or method to just wait until June 3rd to see what happens then.

Thanks you once again for your help.

    Regards

    Bob
