Can't remove gray background

Friends:

One of the Pages in one Section of my OneNote 2010 has an anomaly that I cannot remove.

Three quadrants of the page have what appears to be a charcoal gray fill, and the 4th (upper left) is normal (black text on white).

The gray does not follow the borders of the inserted tables and notes.  It is an "L" shape that fills 3/4 or more of the Page.

Fortunately, the gray does not print when I print the page.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the gray?

Change the size to Letter to see that it will go back to the gray background. When you set the size, it will show the paper size as white and rest as gray. That is to help you fit the content to the page size you specified.

Well, I had already followed JR's suggestion and deleted the original.  The new page with the pasted data is already on Auto Paper Size.

What might your suggestion have accomplished Omer?

What happens if you copy/paste the entire contents of the page to a new page?
