Hi friends,

We are planning to implement HA.

I have a two physical servers and one SAN storage.I want to configure HA in the physical servers.

Totally we are having 20 VM's, Now i plan to create a two separate LUN and present the two LUN in both servers and create 10 VM's in both servers,if one physical server is fail that LUN and virtual machines are moved to another server.it is possible or not??

    Hi RAMKUMAR U,

    If you want to deploy Hyper V cluster for HA, then the deployment is as follow:

    1. Install failover cluster feature and Hyper V role in the two physical servers;
    2. Create cluster and join the two physical servers into the cluster;
    3. Make the two physical servers connect to the LUNs create in the SAN storage, the LUNs are shared storage that need to be connected by all nodes;
    4. Add the connected disks to the cluster, and make the disk to be CSV;
    5. Create VMs and store the VMs in the CSV.
    6. When one physical Server is down, another physical server can still access the CSV and get the VM's data to keep the VM running.

    Best Regards,

    Anne

    Hey,

    Of course, it is possible. The following guide might help going through the configuration process:
