programatically relink sharepoint list via VBA

Hi guys and gals

Using Sharepoint 2010 and Access 2010

I have a linked Sharepoint list that for whatever reason, does not pull a certain (required) field over from the Sharepoint site when the table is opened in Access.

The only way around this is to relink the table. (Refreshing does not solve the issue).

As this is a recurring issue, is it possible to automate this with VBA? I'm not sure if Sharepoint exposes an object model and commands the same way Excel does, for example.

I am looking to relink the table, not refresh it. Thanks though.
