"This Patch Package Could Not Be Opened. Verify That The Patch Package Exists..."

Question

Original Title: Every time I attempt to open ANY of the Office 2007 products, NOTHING WILL WORK< and it did previuosly.

Every time I attempt to open ANY of the Office products, I get the following message:

"THIS PATCH PACKAGE COULD NOT BE OPENED. VERIFY THAT THE PATCH PACKAGE EXISTS AND THAT YOU CAN ACCESS IT, OR CONTACT THE APPLICATION VENDOR TO VERIFY WINDOWS INSTALLER PATCH PACKAGE" 

This is a NEW problem as this Office suite ran perfectly in the past???  I am running this prodcut on my imac with version 10.7.4 and am running it thru Parallels version7.0.15095.

Again, up to recently everything has run fine, and NOW everytimer I attempt to open ANYTHING in Office, I get the bove prompt and message and NOthing loads>

Any and all help would be gretly appreciated.

Have you tried repairing the Office suite?

The Office installation could be damaged or corrupted. Repair the Office suite and check if it helps.

If the issue persists, remove and re-install the Office and verify the result.

Note: Ensure you have the disc and the product key for Office to re-install.
