Does Surface Pro support Visio?

I've installed Office 2013 and have attempted to install Visio 2013.  Office 2013 components all seem to work just fine. I downloaded Visio 2013 and attempted the installation.  It seems to run through the installation but never finishes or launches.  Will any version of Visio run on the Surface Pro?

Visio 2013 works fine on my Surface Po ....

You must install 32 bit Visio with 32 bit Office , or 64 bit Visio with 64 bit Office ... could that be the problem?

I can't address version 2013, as our IT department hasn't approved it, yet. That said, there is a compatibility issues with Visio 2010 x32 and x64 on the Surface Pro 3. The tablet and handwriting services are not compatible with that version of the app. I've contacted Microsoft Surface support about this and they have escalated it to the Office Development team.

A work around seems to be to use an external mouse, connected to the docking station. Still, I can't seem to get Visio and the mouse to work with the embedded USB device, only the USB on the docking station. The mouse is a Microsoft WIFI mouse.
