When I tried to save my powerpoint in 2003 format on powerpoint 2010, it prompted me that o12conv.msi is missing. Can anyone advice on how I should proceed from here? Thanks.

Does this issue occur only with PowerPoint files, what happens if you save Word, Excel in (97-2003) format using Word 2010, Excel 2010 respectively?

Ensure there are no multiple versions of Office installed on the computer.

Verify if you have compatibility pack for Office installed, if so uninstall it and verify if the issue persists.

You may repair Office 2010 using the link below and verify the status:

I Found on my Toshiba it was in a folder marked redist in the install of MSWORKS bundled from Toshiba. I simply right clicked and selected uninstall. Then FINALLY the version I wanted installed properly! There may be a copy at ""C:\Program Files (x86)\MSECache\O2007Cnv\1033""as well.
