Cannot open the Clipboard error.

I often get an error "Cannot open the clipboard" or "Cannot empty the clipboard" when I drag and drop (move) cells or Ctrl-drag and drop (copy). If I cut or copy and paste, there is no problem. I seached on the net, there are thousands asking, the same question, but I have not found and answer that works. Today the problem got worse... every time I got the error and clicked 'OK' the workbook froze. I had to quit Excel (since only the workbook froze, I could still save it) and reopen it. It stopped after rebooting the computer.

This problem persisted at least ever since Office 2000 and still persists in Office 2010. Please HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP
