Original title: Content Controls have mind of their own! HELP!

I'm using Content Controls to populate documents (e.g. user guides, install guides, etc.). I have the controls in place on the title page and they populate to the rest of the document using the content control toolkit. Now enters my issue. I save the document with the changes in the control boxes I want. I open the document and the original content is showing. Sometimes, I'll make changes to 3 controls, save, close, and re-open. When I do this time 2 will controls keep the change and the 1 reverts back to original content. There's no consistency. Any help is appreciated! Otherwise its back to using document properties.

I see that the powers have moved this thread to the Word forum. Hopefully it will be answered there.

    Ed-

Thanks for your quick response. No, I am actually using the Content Control Toolkit in Word. So, this is directly related to Word. Any insights you or anyone can provide would be great!

Are you using the Word Content Contol Toolkit in Excel? Or is this actually a Word question?
