OneNote Tags Missing

I have searched high and low for an answer to this, with no luck. When I chose Find Tags on the Ribbon in Microsoft One Note 2010, I do not get all of my Tags. This is not a personal home computer. It is happening at work and our tech guy doesn't seem to know what is causing it either. I think the Tag function can be very useful. i have went to Options and ensured that dimmed tags are supposed to show. This hasn't worked either. I did notice there were some older posts about this in other forums for the 2007 version and I am wondering if this is bug that has not been fixed.

Sometimes it is that it only shows the Tags from the last section that I have looked at. Sometimes it is a combination of this and other random tags. But I can never get a full picture of all tags in all notebooks or in a particular notebook as a whole.

this is particularly frustrating as this is a feature that makes the program incredibly useful. Please help.

Use the MS Fixi it to remove the Office as it removes all the files.

Then reinstall the program.

This worked beautifully. I'm betting there was an indexing issue with all the notebooks being open.  Closing them all and only reopening the one I needed worked!!  :D Thank you.

Try closing all notebooks and reopening by right-clicking in a blank space in the Notebook navigation pane.
