Sorting Is Scrambling My Data

I work for a small internet retail company that uses excel documents to inventory our items. We get a truck of products with an excel doc that has all the information we need, item, asin, minimum price, etc. We than process the item to get weight, dimensions, and condition. From there a someone puts it online and adds the date and changes the color for our code. We also have a few other misc. boxes we add like what camera its from and warehouse location etc. After a while it gets a little hectic so we sort it to take out some confusion. As of lately when we have been sorting it has been scrambling our data. An item that is new will swap information with an item that is used. We have multiple people working on these all day long, on a server so it can be accessed by all those positions. Is there any way to pin point what is causing this? I can provide some more information if its needed. Thanks.

Hi,

When sorting you have to ensure that you select the entire data set (including the first header row) and then select the column to be sorted in the Data > Sort box.

Hope this helps.
