when using wood 2010 to do a mail merge I receive the Message - Error has occurred:Class not registered.

Repair Office 2010 and check if it works fine:

If the above step does not fix the issue then uninstall Office and reinstall it and check if it helps:

To uninstall Office:

Click on Start< Control Panel< Programs and Features< right click on Microsoft Office 2010 and click on Uninstall.

Note: Ensure that you have the disk and the product key for Office 2010 before uninstalling it.
