Installed Microsoft Office Pro 2010 on eMachines desktop. When I open Access, I cannot close it without shutting down or ending task via task manager. I can save the file I'm working on but after that, it wont close out. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

Yes only happens after code runs.

Then what I would do is slowly comment out sections of code and see when it stops doing that.  You can go back later and uncomment it out but that way you should be able to find the culprit.

It happens with any database that relies on any of the existing vba code. Repair had no effect.

It sounds like you have some code which might be causing the hanging.  But just to check - this only happens AFTER you RUN some code and not before?

It is happening to me with Access 2013. Access will not close after I do anything that calls VBA code. This DB has a lot of legacy business tools in it.
