Can't Rename Module

I deleted a module so I can import a module with the same name form another db. Access stopped working after I deleted the module. The module in gone. After importing the module (with the same name) I am unable to rename the module (access renamed it "Record Functions1 even though the deleted module isn't visible anymore) or run any functions from thus module because access warns me of an ambiguous name. I can rename it something other than Record Function but access still "sees" the deleted module. I've decompiled 5 times and compacted 5 times.

Any other ideas?

James

This sounds like the kind of problems you can encounter when Name Autocorrect is enabled. Access keeps track (in a mysterious and undocumented manner) of the names of  objects, and sometimes they are harder to kill than zombies.

When I create a new db turning that off is the first thing I do. I might have forgot it in this case. Can't check now I deleted the db. Any way, importing all to a new db does wonders.
