"Show unread changes in this notebook" problem

Hello,

I keep my notebook on skydive and sync between my home and work computers. Works fine but the "show unread changes in this notebook" does not work properly. That is, today I made changes on several pages at my work computer and synced them on skydrive. Then I came home and did a sync. Only one page showed the changes I made on my work computer. By the way sync worked all fine. I mean I can see my changes but onenote did not highlight all the changes I made. Why?

Hi Guys,

I know this is an old thread but info is key at the end of the day.  last night I stumbled across the problem you've mentioned above.  It was driving me insane not having the highlights show with changes that have been made.

I found the fix.  Onenote / Options / General - Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office:

Make sure the  "Always use these values regardless of sign in to office" is ticked.  Onenote should ask you to restart after you've applied the tick.  Restart and then open Onenote and you'll notice you have your Bold back when changes have been made.

All right, the problem still persists. My changes are synced but ON does not show the changes. Meanwhile, the "show unread changes in this notebook" option is checked. Could someone please consider this problem?

On the Review tab of the Ribbon look for a setting to "Show Unread Changes in this Notebook". Might be on the "Mark As Read" button.

Does that show as unread if you edit through web app on SkyDrive?
